Vault 113

1.) Don't be an asshole.

The self-explanatory rule of all roleplay - we're all here to have fun in a community space. As such, ill treatment of your fellow players will not be tolerated. Please treat everyone else in the game with the same courtesy you would like to receive in turn. If you are having a conflict with another player that you cannot resolve on your own, please contact the mods! We will try to mediate, though if we judge one party's behaviour to be particularly egregious, we may issue a formal warning or even a ban.

2.) IC=/=OOC

This is a murdergame, where characters kill one another for gain. As such, IC conflict and even lasting negative CR is an expected part of the experience. Please keep this in mind and don't take it personally if someone's character dislikes yours and lets it show. It is not a personal slight unless it actively bleeds into OOC communication - if it does, you can refer to rule 1.).

3.) Don't godmod.

You control your character and your character only. If your character throws a punch, give the other player a chance to have a say in whether or not it connects. If your character is trying to affect the setting, check with a mod what the results may be.

4.) Be active.

Vault 113 is a short-run game and as such it is expected to be fast-paced. Activity Check will be held weekly, with the activity requirement being 20 comments. Comments from Investigations and Trials do not count towards AC, while all other posts count towards the week they correspond to. If you are unable to make AC for a week, please contact us about it! Failure to respond to the AC post in any form will result in idling out of the game.

5.) Stay IC.

Please try to keep your character reasonably close to their canon characterization! There is some leeway to this rule as intense character development is an expected part of the murdergame experience - all we ask you is to be reasonable about those changes and not loose track of their core personality.
